Casmate Pro Plotter Drivers

For years now I've been using an old version of Casmate pro ( over 12 years old ) and its for MAC, I have an old g3. Although my setup is old it still works fine, however i would like to upgrade or have a contingency plan setup for when something goes wrong. Also i have real problems switching formats and transferring to and fro from pc to mac. SO.Is there any simple plotter freeware out there i can use or do i have to fork out big bucks for new software. I don't do any printing so just something i can import eps with fonts and send to plotter will be fine. I want to transfer to PC also and get rid of the old Mac.Hmmmm just thought my plotter (roland camm1 pro 1860) is serial only, can this be converted to usb? Thanks for reading.
